Originally studying Graphics at the Central School of Art, London, the artist was awarded the UK Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship on completion of an honours degree. This Scholarship funded a six month tour of America from where many “One Show” awards were later received in New York, as well as “Design and Art Direction” awards in London. As a visiting lecturer she taught at the Central School of Art, London, Norwich College of Art, Salisbury and Harrow Art Schools. The artist now paints still life, landscapes and portraits in both oils and watercolours, working directly from life, aiming to capture the uniqueness and intensity of the moment. The artist has work in the collection of Lord Popat, the BBC Broadcaster Diana Speed and has exhibited with the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of Marine Artists, W H Patterson Fine Art, New Grafton Gallery, Linda Blackstone Gallery, Blackheath Gallery, Geedon Gallery, Ficino Gallery, Russell Gallery and Waterperry Gallery amongst others. Her work was selected to tour to the Beverley Art Gallery in 2015.
